Exam Information
Exams are offered free of charge through SANDARC – the San Diego Area Radio Council VEC. Current VWS members can join the testing team as a volunteer examiner – all training is provided! VWS can offer remote exams with advance notice – send us a note and someone will be in touch.

About Us
The Vienna Wireless Society (VWS) was founded in 1963. With a membership of over 300 licensed amateur radio operators and monthly technical meetings, VWS is among the largest and most active Amateur Radio clubs in Northern Virginia. Our program rests on three main pillars: scientific/technological activities, recreational operating, and emergency service activities.
